horses
There are about 200 000 horses in Sweden. It's one of very few Olympic disciplines in which men and women compete under the same conditions and the only branch in which animals are included as participants. The horse is here as good athletes as human beings.

Centennial Park
Today I received wonderful photos from my daughter who lives in Sydney. She and her boyfriend had been in Centennial Park. Covering more than 360 hectares, Centennial Parklands is one of the world's finest and most used urban open spaces. It is situated less than five kilometers from Sydney's central business district and just a few minutes from the city's popular East Beach. |

chocolate! mmmmmmm
Chocolate comes in many forms: unsweetened, semi-sweet, bittersweet, milk chocolate and white chocolate (which technically isn't chocolate at all, but does have similarities. Chocolate contains alkaloids such as theobromine and
phenethylamine, which have physiological effects on the body.
Doesn't everybody just love chocolate!

Copacabana
Ecuador
My daughter Victoria was in Ecuador and worked as a volunteer. She and her friend built this garbage shed, with their ''bare hands''. A good experience, to live in the jungle, in spartan accommodation, with giant cockroaches, spiders and lots of mosquitoes. Coming from our part of the world, it is not easy, but in their case it was for one month only, so they thought it was quite ok.
Abricó de Macaco
The fruits of Abricó de Macaco, takes almost a year to mature and can be very dangerous when they fall. For this reason, this beautiful tree should not be planted in places where there is movement of people and cars, as sidewalks and streets, and small gardens. Its beauty must be admired from a distance, mostly in zoos, botanical gardens, large gardens and courtyards. However, monkeys can eat it.

in 40 years!
I drew this picture almost 40 years ago, and in all this time, nothing have changed! 30 000 children die worldwide every day. The poor countries in the developing world could save thousands of lives in just a few cents a day and children. But developing countries are forced to pay interest on its foreign debt to the rich G8 countries, which at its last meeting did not arrive at any concrete relief for developing countries.
Women Come In Different Sizes
Society has not always had the same body ideals. Historically, the female body ideal varied in the Western world. During the 1700s and 1800s severely tight corsets were used, to enhance a woman's waist after contemporary curvy body ideal.
In the early 1900s mainly women from upper class starve themselves, drinking vinegar and eat arsenic, to be a fragile and bleached appearance.
During the late 1900s until now, there is a different view of the image of women, with certain body parts that should be oversized or small.
That in many cases lead to devastating consequences for some women, in their goal to reach the current body ideals.

nail carpet
Today I bought myself a nail carpet .... Hope I dare lay down on it ..... It hurts my fingers when I touch it, how will it then be with the whole body!? What happens when the nails are pressed into the back..... the production of endorphins that relieve pain are triggered. After a while your body starts to increase production its own feel-good hormone, oxytocin, which enables us to relax. It is the same hormone that turns on when we hug or get massages. We feel happy, and feel an inner calm. While the blood circulation increases.

Interior Design
Today we have a beautiful late summer day. I love this season. Must be out and enjoy now, because soon I begin to work ..... it's the first job I applied, for 30 years, has worked on my own, or been a stay home mom, which I really liked, because my freedom is highly valued. Especially as it was in lovely Spain. Living in Sweden is totally different, here it is rather isolated, if we do not work. So now I feel I want out in public, even if it impinges on my freedom to travel when I want. I will work with interior design, furniture design from 1950-2000. It will be exciting and interesting as interior design is one of my major interests.

Open letter to summer....
So, now will you!
Now, as you... soon shall die, or turn into autumn.
Now that all schoolchildren are sitting indoors,
the holidays are over! Now it fits. You are still fine,
but why must you mock us, when you should be with us,
and then at the last minute, just to give us a glimpse
of what we have longed for, a long cold winter.
I wish autumn welcome, because you summer, is too unreliable!
Odjuret
Tomorrow I'm going to Helsingborg to be with another movie. I love the whole concept around the film / movie making. The atmosphere, waiting ..... carrying a lot of wonderful relationships with new and old acquaintances, with the same goal, to do everything for a successful outcome. It is not to be seen, but the whole atmosphere at the recording place is something quite special. ..... silence .... shot! continuation follows ......
